IHale, Emilyholidays in West Rindge;d1 doubt whether this letter will reach you, but I am writing just these few lines, as I have not written for a fortnight, to say that I am posting another letter c/o Miss Ware at West Rindge, in which I enclose a couple more cuttings.
IRock, Theapproaching finale;d3 am very tired, and glad that the last night is tomorrow, and that I shall get a fortnight in the country which I am very much in need of. This last week especially has been very full; this is the first night I have had at home. But what is most on my mind is anxiety about your health during these last trying weeks and during your visit to Boston when you may be dashing about from one household to another. I shall be happier when I know (if you do let me know) that you are on the water. AndHale, Emilyas director ('producer');v9Comus;a4 you are still in the agonies of ‘Comus’. I do worry about you: so don’t be grand and sniffy about it.
My Pen is being repaired.
