[Stamford House, Chipping Campden]
I was again happy to get your letter this morning – it is hard to remember that while I get your letters in the morning, I do not get mine to you until the afternoon. I see that I have to apologise for another typing error. IdogsSamoyed;c9considered for EH;a1 think a Samoyed is something like a Chow or a huskie – a kind of fuzzy wild dog: it does not sound very attractive. I think that all we can do is to visit several dogshops immediately you come to town. If I come up on Tuesday morning, I can transfer to Russell Square and leave the flat ready for you. I shall not be free during the day on Wednesday, remember; but I thought we might take the whole of Thursday [illegible: overtyped] we could go to a theatre on Wednesday, BOTHER!
we might take the whole of Thursday for an excursion. We could go to a theatre on Wednesday, if there is anything you care to see. Is that clear???
I now have all my packing to do before bedtime, which is not conducive to sitting down to write a good letter. Itravels, trips and plansEH's 1938 summer in England;d1TSE's 3–6 September Campden visit;b1 will get to Campden Somehow on Saturday the 3d.
What a poor sort of note this is.
