The weather, both at Minsted and here, has been consistently fine and hot: in fact the uninterrupted good weather throughout the month is now giving cause for alarm – a serious drought and of course heath and forest fires. But it has been a great advantage for me. I become a little more active every day, but am still very conscious of my right side.

My visits have been pleasant, and I have been well cared for, but it will be a relief to get back to my own lair and be independent again.
I wait to hear about the second and (if you had any part in it) the third play. But most especially about the autumn. IHale, Emilyfinances;w5;b2 am frankly anxious about your finding your financial resources inadequate, and being very pinched this winter. Oh dear –
