Brian Teare wins Four Quartets Prize

Hannah Sullivan is to give this year’s Annual T. S. Eliot Lecture in Oxford on Thursday 28th November at 5:30pm. The title of the lecture is T. S. Eliot and the Art of Abandonment.

Poet, playwright and broadcaster Lemn Sissay MBE will read from Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats at a special event at the British Library on Sunday 24th November, 2-3pm.
The Poetry Society of America has opened submissions for the Four Quartets Prize for 2019.
The fourth in a series of five annual lectures inspired by T. S. Eliot’s impact on modern literature, will be given by Sean Scully RA at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin on Sunday 17th November.
