[No surviving envelope]
[from Geneva]
I was glad to get your lett. of the 15th and hasten to reply, though I doubt whether this will arrive before you leave. I had written to Andover, before leaving England, having no other address. I am happy to know that you are travelling in comfort and are enjoying your holiday. I have been leading the normal quiet life here in Geneva, weather sometimes good and in any case better than in England. AsHale, Emilycorrespondence with TSE;w3TSE unfussed as to repository;i9 for letters, I have no preference over Princeton, or Harvard or else where. I think 50 years sealed up is the right period, but I will write more fully on that point when I return to London. If this note is delayed I hope it will be forwarded as necessary to directions on envelope.
