Hannah Sullivan is to give this year’s Annual T. S. Eliot Lecture in Oxford on Thursday 28th November at 5:30pm. The title of the lecture is T. S. Eliot and the Art of Abandonment.
Dr Hannah Sullivan is Associate Professor and Tutorial Fellow at New College, Oxford. Her first book, The Work of Revision, explored the complicated genesis of some of the major works of English-language modernism, including poetry by Eliot. Earlier this year she was awarded the T. S. Eliot Prize for her debut poetry collection, Three Poems.
The Lecture, presented by the T. S. Eliot Society (UK) will be held in the T. S. Eliot Theatre in Merton College and there will be a welcome from Professor Helen Small, Merton Professor of English Language and Literature.
The Lecture is open to the public and admission is free on a first-come, first served basis. More information here.
