The T. S. Eliot International Summer School is convening at Merton College, Oxford from 5th to 13th July 2025. The Summer School brings together renowned scholars and students from around the world for a nine-day, immersive exploration of the life and work of T. S. Eliot.
During the week, students attend morning lectures followed by a seminar of their choice in the afternoon. This year’s seminars explore The Waste Land, Eliot’s early poetry and criticism, Eliot’s later poetry and criticism, and Eliot and Woolf. The Summer School opens with a discussion with Mark Ford followed by a drinks reception, and will close with a Gala Dinner at High Table. Day trips will take students to Little Gidding in Huntingdonshire for the annual T. S. Eliot Festival, and Burnt Norton in the Cotswolds.
Registration is now open with full and partial tuition scholarships available. Accomodation is available at Merton College.
