The T. S. Eliot Society (UK) Annual Lecture will take place in Oxford on Monday 15 November 2021. The lecture, entitled “T. S. Eliot’s Liberalism”, will be given by Seamus Perry in the award-winning T. S. Eliot Theatre in Merton College, Oxford.
Seamus Perry is Professor of English Literature at Oxford University and a Fellow of Balliol College. He appears regularly in the London Review of Books, the Times Literary Supplement and elsewhere, and is the editor, with Christopher Ricks, of the quarterly journal Essays in Criticism.
Professor Helen Small, Merton Professor of English, will welcome the audience and a drinks reception hosted by Merton will follow the Lecture.
