Sheenagh Pugh is the author of numerous poetry collections. The Beautiful Lie (2002) was shortlisted for the 2003 Whitbread Poetry Award. Her Selected Poems was published in 1990 and a ‘mini-Selected’, What If This Road: and other poems, was published in 2003. The Movement of Bodies (Seren, 2005) was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation and shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize. More recent publications include: Long-Haul Travellers (Seren, 2008), shortlisted for the Roland Mathias Prize and longlisted for the Wales Book of the Year Prize; Short Days, Long Shadows (Seren 2014); and Afternoons Go Nowhere (Seren, 2019).
