Esther Morgan

Esther Morgan was born in Kidderminster. Her poetry collections, all published by Bloodaxe Books, include: Beyond Calling Distance (2001), winner of the 2001 Jerwood Aldeburgh First Collection Prize and shortlisted for the Mail on Sunday/John Llewellyn Rhys Prize; The Silence Living in Houses (2005); Grace (2011), a Poetry Book Society Recommendation and shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize; and The Wound Register (2018), shortlisted for poetry category of the East Anglian Book Awards 2018 and a runner-up for the 2019 New Angle Prize for Literature.
