David Morley

An ecologist by background, David Morley’s numerous poetry collections include: The Invisible Kings (2007), a Poetry Book Society Recommendation and Times Literary Supplement Book of the Year; Enchantment (2010, a Sunday Telegraph Book of the Year; The Invisible Gift: Selected Poems, which won the Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry 2015; The Magic of What’s There (2017); and FURY (2020), a Poetry Book Society Choice and shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection. All are published by Carcanet. Passion is published in 2025. He is Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Warwick and a Fellow of The Royal Society of Literature.
