Tom Paulin, shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize 2025 with his collection Namanlagh<\/em> (Faber & Faber), is the featured poet in this week\u2019s Eliot Prize newsletter. <\/strong><\/p>\n

In the latest additions to the celebrated T. S. Eliot Prize video series, Tom reads the poems ‘Namanlagh’<\/a> <\/strong>and ‘Folly Bridge’.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0We interview his fellow poets and friends Bernard O’Donoghue and Jamie McKendrick<\/strong><\/a>, who were closely involved in the shaping of Namanlagh<\/em>. Bernard also reads Tom’s poem ‘Quand vous serez bien vieille’<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0while Jamie reads ‘The 8th Army Cemetery, El Alamein’.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0View these videos and more on the T. Download the Reader\u2019s Notes on Namanlagh<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, which include a selection of poems from the collection, plus reviews, reading suggestions, and a writing prompt or two for those inspired to respond creatively. The aim of the Readers\u2019 Notes is to inspire deeper readings of the book, individually or shared with friends, book groups or writing workshops.<\/p>\n

We have also published a searching<\/strong>\u00a0review, commissioned from John Field<\/strong><\/a>, offering vivid insights into the work.<\/p>\n
