His poetry pamphlet, <em>All this is implied<\/em> (Happen<em>Stance<\/em> 2017), was joint winner of the\u00a0<em>London Review Bookshop<\/em> Pamphlet of the Year and shortlisted for the Callum Macdonald Memorial Award. His poems and essays have been published in the\u00a0<em>TLS<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Granta<\/em>,\u00a0<em>the Guardian<\/em>, and the\u00a0<em>London Review of Books<\/em>, and his essay <em>Mixed-Race Superman <\/em>was published buy Peninsula Press in 2018. His debut poetry collection <em>RENDANG\u00a0<\/em>(UK: Granta; US: Wesleyan University Press) was a Poetry Book Society Choice, won the Forward Prize for Best First Collection and was shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize.
