Poems from her three award-winning collections, <em>Electroplating the Baby<\/em> (1988), <em>Phrase Book<\/em> (1992) and <em>My Life Asleep<\/em> (1998), which was shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize, are gathered in a selected poems collection, <em>Her Book<\/em> (2000). She has won a number of literary prizes including the Commonwealth Writers\u2019 Prize for Best First Collection, the Forward Prize for Best Collection and the National Poetry Competition (twice). <em>Tender Taxes<\/em>, her versions of Rilke, was published in 2001. Her collection <em>Of Mutability<\/em> was published in 2010 and won the Costa Prize for Book of the Year.
