Four of her Chatto &amp; Windus collections,<em>\u00a0Learning to Make an Oud in Nazareth, Rembrandt Would Have Loved You<\/em>\u00a0(both Poetry Book Society Choices),\u00a0<em>The Soho Leopard<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Voodoo Shop<\/em> (a PBS Recommendation) have been shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize. Her mixed-genre book <em>The Mara Crossin<\/em>g is a poems-and-prose exploration of migration and immigration; her\u00a0<em>Darwin \u2013 A Life in Poems<\/em> is a much-acclaimed biography in verse of Charles Darwin, her great-great-grand-father. Recent publications include: <em>Emerald<\/em> (2018); <em>We Are All From Somewhere Else<\/em> (2020); <em>Beethoven Variations<\/em> (2020); and <em>Girl<\/em> (2024), a PBS Special Recommendation.
