Eliot Foundation. The prize\u00a0is\u00a0for a unified and complete sequence of poems published in America in a print or online journal, chapbook, or book\u00a0in 2016 and\/or 2017.\u00a0The judges for the inaugural prize are\u00a0Linda Gregerson, Ishion Hutchinson,\u00a0 and Jana Prikryl.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The deadline for submissions is 22 December <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-7497 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/tseliot.com\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/PSA-Logo-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"274\" height=\"274\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tseliot.com\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/PSA-Logo-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tseliot.com\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/PSA-Logo-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/tseliot.com\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/PSA-Logo.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 274px) 100vw, 274px\" \/>2017.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>Four Quartets<\/em>\u00a0Prize is first and foremost a celebration of the multi-part poem, which includes entire\u00a0volumes composed of a unified sequence as well as novels in verse and book-length verse narratives.\u00a0<em>Four Quartets<\/em>\u00a0by T.S. Eliot is a supreme example. Eliot published each of the four sections separately in literary journals and then collected them for the book. It is the 1943 book publication that would be eligible for this prize.<\/p>\n<p>The prize\u00a0is launching in the 75th\u00a0anniversary year of the original publication of\u00a0<em>Four Quartets<\/em>\u00a0in a single volume, in America, in 1943.\u00a0Three finalists will receive $1,000 each.
